Client Portal Terms of Use

The client portal is where UDUE clients send change requests, see where each request stands, and see how many changes they have used. These terms explain how to use it. They are part of your service agreement with UDUE, which includes our Terms of Service, Refund and Cancellation page, and Privacy Policy. If these terms and the Terms of Service disagree, the Terms of Service control.

The portal is provided by UDUE LLC ("UDUE," "we," or "the UDUE Team").

1. Your Account

  • You sign in with the email address your church has on file with us. We send you a private sign-in link. The link works once and expires after 15 minutes. There is no password to remember.
  • Only people your church has named as authorized contacts may use the portal for your church. Please tell us in writing when someone joins or leaves that list.
  • Keep your sign-in links private. Do not forward them. Tell us right away at admin@udue.com if you think someone else has gained access.
  • Your church is responsible for what is done through its account.
  • If your email address changes, please tell us so we can update our records before you try to sign in.

2. Change Requests

  • Use the portal to describe what you want changed, in plain words. You may also email admin@udue.com.
  • Before we change anything, we confirm each request with an authorized contact. This protects your church if someone else asks for a change in your name.
  • A change is one small update that takes about 30 minutes or less, such as a service time, a sermon, an event, a photo, or a staff entry. Larger requests are quoted first.
  • Your plan includes a set number of changes each month: 15 for Care, 30 for Care Plus, and unlimited reasonable changes for Full Service. The portal shows how many you have used. On Care, unused changes do not carry over. On Care Plus, unused changes carry into the next month, for one month only. Full Service has unlimited reasonable changes, so there is no monthly limit to carry over.
  • Changes beyond your plan are $5 each. We bill them together in one PayPal invoice at the end of the month. We will tell you when you are close to your limit.
  • Counts and statuses shown in the portal are for your convenience. If you think a count is wrong, email us and we will check it.

3. Response Times

We aim to finish each change within 72 hours, and within 48 hours on Full Service. We count these as calendar hours, from the moment we receive your request. Weekends and holidays are counted, and the portal shows the clock for each request. Response times describe how quickly we normally respond. They are not guarantees or service levels.

4. Acceptable Use

Please use the portal only for your church's website. Please do not:

  • send content that is unlawful, misleading, hateful, or threatening;
  • send content you do not have the right to use, including photos, music, or text that belong to someone else;
  • share private information about other people, especially children, without proper permission;
  • try to get into another church's account or into parts of our systems that are not meant for you;
  • upload viruses or harmful code, or try to overload or disrupt the portal; or
  • use the portal to send advertising or spam.

We may decline or remove content that breaks these rules, and we will tell you when we do. We may suspend portal access if it is misused.

5. Your Content

You are responsible for the text, photos, and other materials you send through the portal ("Church Content"), as described in our Terms of Service. Your church keeps its rights in Church Content. You give UDUE permission to use it only as needed to do your work. Please send only content that your church has the right to use, and tell us if a photo shows a child so we can follow your church's release rules. Files you attach to a request are private to your church and UDUE. Each request can carry up to 4 MB of files in total, and we keep files for 12 months.

6. Availability

The portal is provided "as is" and "as available." It may be down for maintenance or because of problems with our providers or the internet. We do not promise it will always be available or error-free. If the portal is not working, email admin@udue.com. We are glad to take your request that way.

7. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect in the portal and who handles it. Please read it. The portal sets one small cookie that keeps you signed in, as described in our Cookie Note. We also keep a record of each sign-in and of when you accept our agreement, as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Ending Portal Access

You lose portal access when your agreement with UDUE ends. We may also suspend or end access for the reasons in our Terms of Service, or if these terms are broken. Before your access ends, we give you your site files and help move your domain, as the Terms of Service explain.

9. Changes to These Terms

When we change these terms, we change the date at the top and tell current clients by email at least 30 days before the change affects them.

10. Wyoming Law and Disagreements

The laws of the State of Wyoming govern these terms. If something is wrong, please email admin@udue.com first. The steps in the "Governing Law and How to Raise a Concern" section of our Terms of Service apply, including mediation and the courts located in or serving Sheridan County, Wyoming.
